He’s a glorified school shooter who joined a cult of fuckheads because his sister joined the military and actually died on duty. He’s just the Big Good with a dash of trauma and trust issues. Ozpin has the traits you’d associate with a MB, but isn’t one. Ozpin I would sorta get in any other story written by any other author Dumbledore is a good example of a magnificent bastard. The person in this post has 0 idea what they are talking about and, in fact, agreed with the trope. During her battle with Adam before the whole Yang and Blake thing, she used her copies to get away to see if she can find help (iirc, its been a LONG time since I've seen that fight, so correct me if I'm wrong). guess what.that copy exploded in his face to get the upper hand. in that same post.with the same photo with Blake and Torchwick. However, she makes up the discrepancy by doing clever things in battle seriously. They don't fight for her, they don't do anything, they are just cardboard copies. Compared to all that Blake is the weakest out of the four, because all she does is make copies to create space. If you compare it to Ruby's fast speed, Yang's "super sayian" mode, and Weiss summoning/time dilation (but lets be honest Time Dilation still has yet to be used again lmao, and she needs a W/.badly but I digress). Did they legit agree with the trope trying to argue against?īlake is legit the textbook definition of "Weak, but skilled", because her fighting style IS using her copies in a cleaver manner to get a leg up in battle, and honestly what sets her apart from the rest of the cast in terms of fight scenes when she uses them.
